New Kids on the Block on the Chopping Block
Yes, it is true, the New Kids on the Block attempted a comeback. However, poor ticket sales led them to cancel their Australian tour and who’s to blame…definitely not the group for lack of talent, or that nobody cares about the grown-up kids, but the FICRY, of course. 
On their website, Donnie Wahlberg wrote, “Despite warnings that the financial problems plaguing the world would compromise the Australian tour – they never gave up on this dream and neither did we. However – I’m sorry to say that now – it is true. We can only assure you that when the recession’s stranglehold on the world’s economies eases up a bit – we will find a way to make this work.”
Britney Spears is dealing with the same issue apparently…ticket sales for her comeback tour are selling very sloooowly.
