Best Friends Forever?
The recession may be a time to band together, or unfortunately, a time to pull apart. With new found monetary consciousness and heavy personal problems caused by the recession, several friendships are on the rocks. The classic have and have-nots issue plays out even with best friends, as some are safe from the recession, and others are not. The recession is taking its social toll on even the best of best friends, creating new meaning to the saying “best friends forever!”
